WOW! If I would have known Joe Burrow was going to win the Heisman Trophy, a National Championship and now a trip to the Super Bowl, I probably would have taken more selfies. 
On May 22, 2018 Coach Ron Roesink set up a 2 hour training session for these players at Westerville Central High School where my sons and nephew played. I came and snapped balls to the QB's...one of which was Joe Burrow.
Here's what I'll tell you about that short period with Joe...
Cool as a cucumber, VERY polite, mild mannered and helpful.
At that time he had just decided to transfer to LSU...me being the prognosticator that I am, I said to Joe at the end of our session, 'Great meeting you. Congrats on your success and I think you made the right decision.'..so LSU fans, you're welcome.
I'm sure he took what I said to heart and now had the confidence to go to Tiger country.
You'll also notice Benny Snell in the pic. Benny was a running back and linebacker at WCHS and was just starting as the running back at Kentucky where he eventually broke pretty much every rushing record in Wildcat history and then was drafted by the Pittsburg Steelers and has now played 3 years in the NFL.
Benny on the other hand is NOT mild mannered, but in a good way. You probably would be hard pressed to find anyone who competes harder physically, I mean Benny is an animal. I'm pretty sure there's no 'off button' on Benny. But that's just the attitude you have to have to get to the next level.
Too me its a FANTASTIC memory of a VERY hot day, like upper 80's, where I got to do what most kids only dream of, participate in some high level fun and from an adult perspective it was exciting to watch the REAL WORK it takes to master your craft.
...and I think it's also worthy to note that my son Isaiah Healy , and son Zeke Healy had fantastic high school careers and going to all of their practice sessions was one of the greatest joys of my life.
