Rick Suarez

Born in 1951 to a hard working Canton, Ohio couple, Rick started his first business at the age of 19.  By age 22, he was running a $3.2 million dollar company with more than 50 employees.  By the time he was 24 he was a millionaire. At the age of 29, Rick accepted Jesus as Lord of his life.  The business then grew at an even more rapid rate, and he began to give generously to finance the Kingdom. As the driving force behind the company’s success, Rick took on all aspects of marketing, from writing copy to directing photo shoots and placing media.  At the same time, he was creating management and operational systems to ensure the company’s long-term success.

He pioneered the direct sale of fitness equipment on television in 1985 and followed that up by extending the brand to the retail market. Sales exploded, nearly doubling every year until they reached $113 million in 1991.  Rick’s company was the only one in the country at that time to tightly integrate marketing and advertising efforts in-house. Rick sold the company, by then known as Fitness Quest, in 1994 and ploughed his profits into Rootblast, a company marketing a garden product through infomercials and QVC.

Rick is an ordained minister, the founder of Fresh Start Ministries and the author of The Lost Secret.  He has also launched another fitness company, Fit One LLC, and is marketing an innovative new exercise device called the BallBike, which he believes will revolutionize the way people workout worldwide.  Rick has a passion for both church and marketplace ministry.
